May Revision Courses

Unlike our other revision and tuition courses, the May revision courses are held entirely online, meaning students don’t need to worry about travelling to a different location to study. The May half-term revision courses are set up to allow your child to do those last-minute revision sessions to facilitate their exam success with as little disruption as possible.

We appreciate that this can be an extremely stressful time for both you and your child, and passing their GCSEs or A-Levels can be worrying. This is why we felt it would be best for all of our students to take part in our courses from the comfort of their own homes with our expert tutors who will be on hand to assist with any last-minute prep for sitting their final exams.

Why Choose Last Minute May Revision Courses?

Not all children can revise alone or work better in a more formal setting. Allowing them the opportunity to absorb as much information as possible to fill in any gaps can be extremely helpful and provide them with the confidence they need to go ahead and do their best.

Last-minute revisions ahead of their formal examinations will also allow them to ask questions or cover areas they feel less proficient in.

The timing of these courses is ideal, fitting seamlessly into the May Half-Term week. There are no lessons to work around or exams being undertaken, and your child will be well-rested for their revisions.

A Level May Half Term Revision Courses

For Year 13 students, this is the final chance in their secondary education journey to demonstrate their capacity and understanding of everything they have been taught over the past two years.

The revision courses are designed to help your child be as prepared as possible for their exams. They provide a comprehensive overview of the A-level courses in many subjects, including mathematics, biology, chemistry, English, and geography.

Our tutors are well-versed in the national curriculum and can guide your child through the information they need to help them understand everything they need to know for that all-important last-minute revision boost.

A Level May Revisions courses occur online from 25 May 2024 to 2 June 2024 between 9.30 am and 5 pm.

  • GCSE May Revisions courses occur online from 25 May 2024 to 2 June 2024 between 9.30 am and 5 pm.

What Is Taught In The May Revision Sessions?

Our tutors will use their knowledge of the curriculum in their given subject as well as previous papers to help your child become more familiar with the exam topics, layout and structure.

This information will help your child understand how the exam will be laid out and the questions they might face for this year’s papers. The more they know about what to expect, the easier it will be for them to gain the knowledge they need, uncover how to answer certain types of questions and navigate tricky sections that might otherwise trip them up.

Are Students Marked?

The aim of our revision sessions for Year 11 and Year 13 pupils is to give them the tools and know-how they need to pass their exams. We assess all of our students during their courses, even the two-day courses, to see where they need more help or different learning strategies so they can get the most from their revision experience. This means we can uncover areas of concern and help them overcome any knowledge gaps or answer any questions they might have.

Are The Courses Flexible?

The courses are taken over 2 or 3 days, and while it is optimal that your child attends these courses when they initially run online, there is a degree of flexibility. We can discuss this with you if you feel like your child would benefit from this.

Do the Courses Cover All Exam Boards?

Our revision materials are designed to cover all exam boards under which your child might be taking exams. These include AQA, Edexcel, and OCR MEI. We have experience supporting children taking exams from different boards, and our courses are put together to take this into account so that each one gets exactly what they need from the revision courses.
